New PCX and Brake Fluid Gone Down

Hi Everyone.
Just some advice needed. My PCX has done a couple of hundred miles now, and I've noticed the level of the front brake fluid has gone down to about half way down the window. I'.ve checked this by looking at the first photos I took when I collected the bike
My first service is due in about a month I guess, but in the meantime would this drop in fluid level be expected as a result of the pads bedding in?
I can see no sign of any leaks at all.
Thanks for your help.
Tom.

You shouldn't lose that amount if fluid in that time. Take it to the dealer and get them to check it. Or better still they should be picking it up.

Half way down the window is where it should be. Check your manual for the full procedure, but the simple version is: with the right hand grip level (wheel turning to the left) there are two arrows on each side of the "window" that are the marks where the correct fluid level is indicated.

Okay. Will check it out, then get back to the dealer if it is lower than the book says.
Many thanks!

hmm.. is this the sight level on the right handle bar or the rear brake fluid?

i recall mine on the right handle bar to be full, guess i'll check but its been through a service so doubt that gets missed out.

if its the front fluid, then he fluid needs to be in the middle or above, the line means lower level.

Maybe you've been heavy with your front brake as that can lower the fluid.

As the brakes wear, the fluid will appear to be less. But in reality it's just occupying more space in the system due to the increase travel in the brake piston(s). You may need to add just a little to bring it back to the right level. Even your auto brake will do this.

I believe, it should show about 1/2 in the window normally. I'd have to check the service manual to be sure but I recall reading that before.

Thanks for all the replies. I also remembered that I had repositioned the front brake reservoir/mirror stalk slightly forward to be able to see behind me better. This of course means the fluid level leans forward slightly more .... and appears to drop in the level window (if you see what I mean).
I will keep a close eye on it though.
Thanks once again for your help!

Cracksta is correct: the arrows indicate the lowest level you should allow. Sorry for the mis-information. Topping off is pretty easy, just mind the drips, they'll etch paint.
