I found a black 2013 PCX150 with only 103 miles on it! It was at a dealer in a San Francisco suburb. I bought it and rode it home to Las Vegas! I'll soon be selling the GoldWing. I have a few ideas for personalizing the little scoot!

Welcome to the forums. You will find lots of info and help here. To help us help you better, could you also provide your location as a part of your profile. I know your user name king of indicates that, but it helps to have it as a part of your profile when we quick glance at it.
Wow, San Fran to Vegas for a first trip. I assume you rode the freeways. The PCX tends to be a little light and underpowered for that. Now that you have done it, what's your opinion?
Thanks again for joining us.

This is a great scooter! Of course I rode the freeway! It did just fine
San Fran to Vegas is just a short hop. I was wishing for a throttle lock. In 2008 I bought a Genuine Buddy 150 in Cleveland Ohio and rode it to San Fran. Bottom line, I'll be selling the GoldWing now that I have the PCX. While the shop was prepping it, I looked over a new one. I noticed the power port in the glovebox. Great! My first stop was Fry's electronics for a cigarette to USB adapter to charge my phone on the way. Imagine my shock when I found I didn't get the power port. It got cold in Bakersfield so I stopped for the night. Tehachapi was chilly in the morning so I grabbed a cup of coffee at a diner. One thing, my search of the internet says it should hold about 2 gallons of gas. When the gauge is blinking, I can only put in 1.3 gallons. I carried a 1 gallon plastic can of gas under the seat but there was no need. Plenty of stations in the desert.
