packed up the scoot, fully loaded. leaving early tomorrow morning with a couple mates.
The Chinese 51L topbox on the back is a treat. fits all the cooking equipment including a full size pan and pots, gas cooker plus backpack with shoes etc.
I like to lean back on all the gear, hence two pillows

Topbox on the back is a treat or a threat depending on if you complied with the recall on the base plate.
Pillows are a nice touch... WILDS HOGS!

I think Grandma would be cranky that he took her pillows.

poor scooter took a thrashing. we hit some 4wd tracks. lost the centre stand spring so it was zip tied to the drive case to keep up.
the top box also fell off after hitting a huge pot hole, but luckily the rack is okay.
i'm probably gonna get a proper dirtbike later this year.. WR250F?

WR250R is the go if you have deep pockets, but I'm partial to the new 2017 Honda CRF250L(ABS).
Or, there is the Kwak Versys-X 300. A bit soft compared to the other too, though. The tyres won't get you far, either...
Or mod a KLR650 and go anywhere with a huge 22L tank. You just need to derestrict, carb and pipe it to go alright.

Sorry bigdick, but those pics are hilarious, and the poor PCX almost seems to be sulking lol

So did your poor little PCX give you a sad look while you were at that gas station? It does look pathetic. Remember that saying about not bringing a knife to a gun fight? Well, here is a case of bringing a city scooter to a back woods road. Just don't.... :-(

Never let it be said that life isn't full of surprises! Lookie what you did!
(And with a bit of strawberry flare)
I hate to ask bigdick (but I will ) Why did ye Take yer Weee Widdle White one "loaded" up into the muck n mire? Was it for the sake of knowing She can duit? (Place emoticon "PCX face" here with tongue sticking out). Ha! Did it! and now on order is a duly earned bubbly bath with in-the-groove(s) detailing. Spare no expense or energy. Well deserved.
and.....how did you fare sir? Bit on the mucky side as well? Bubbly for you? Shout out to wife
Dirt bike on the horizon. Stay focused. See it?
(if for nothing else, I had dirty fun with this thread. So thank you errr...bigdick! )

Sights set on a CRF250L in a few months.
I took the poor scooter through it cause it's all I had. I love getting dirty and I can't help it. No real regrets. I bought a new centrestand spring for $4. It's still muddy after washing it though.
You'se should've seen the puddles I pushed this through.. I had to keep the speed up so it wouldn't suck the shit into the airbox
Note the scoot will burn some oil on the freeway...
