All work and no play - motovlog

Heya folks. It's been a few weeks because my new job at the tire shop has me exhausted when I get home, but I have a new motovlog up. It's a scoot commute, both going and returning, since it's only about ten minutes there and ten back again. :)

honkerman- I hope they don't have you busting 11/24.5 truck tires apart and inflating them with a tire blaster?
Used to do my own tires at one time, but now leave that heavy work to much younger and bigger individuals.

Ok, to answer all the questions:

I got hired by Bridgestone to work at a local Tires Plus shop. I'm a tire salesman, but I help in the shop too a bit, and it's a blast. Starting on my fourth week and I haven't gotten bored yet.

As for the collarbone, I broke it last year when I crashed my PCX. There's no video of that event though.

This was a fun video, seems you've dialed in the sound and field of view perfectly. I road along the entire video this time. Hope you had some good food and family on Thanksgiving too. Your attitude toward your employment is great! I like to hear positive and encouraging people. Toiling with cheer and setting a good example :D Good job brother

Just wondering what happened in your Bike accident. Someone must have cut you off because you look to be a very wary and very good motorcyclist in your videos.Glad you recovered and the mental scars have faded..

I got target fixation on a guardrail, braked to hard, front locked on gravel and down I went.

I do try to be mindful when I'm riding. I'm glad it shows.

Sounds like my accident except mine was on the white line at the side of the road on a bend

Enjoyable ride and your voice was clearly heard! No problemo ;)

About your new job, Congrats! it's so important to enjoy what you're doing and it's a sure bonus when your boss appreciates you too. That's a win - win! Having the opportunity to move up the ladder? WIN! I'm thinking you'll be climbing it quickly, good luck!

Before I move on, I want to tell you that I grinned when you mentioned straightening out the used tires in the back room. Then I smiled when you quoted your father, as my father said and taught me the same. Soo..Paul, if I had been there I would have been lending you a hand n saying, "Let's do this Right the First time around, so We won't Have to Do It Again. We can then move on and do something different." To the best of my ability, I have followed his advice. It works.
Thanks Dad :P and thank you Paul for the video.

Cheers and Happy Holidays to You and Yours
