If you are driving they will last forever.
If riding it depends on how you use them. Almost forever if you are easy on them.

Depends on mileage and use but you'll probably never replace the rears. There not difficult to replace just a bit more involved than the fronts.

I have 2mm left of 5 on the front after 8000 miles. The garage warned me they needed doing ASAP so got a set off an online seller to find the geniune Honda pads have just 5 to start with. Was disappointed as at that rate I should have 4000 miles left.

Having had a service recently my front brake pad has around 40% left and I've done 4250 miles so probably 7000-8000 miles.

So far my wife's bike has 13,000 miles on it and none of the brakes have needed to be replaced.
