Newbie intro

Hello, so not only new to forum but also new rider - having been a pillion for several years, and pestering hubby for a dog - I gave up on a dog and said can I do my bike licence, which he immediately said Yes too!!!

Yep still trying to figure that one out myself, but have to say am pleased I've passed by CBT not bad for a near 50 year old hey :)

One thing I am loving and what drew me to doing my CBT was the friendliness of fellow bikers, with the nod - oh how I get so happy when I am acknowledged on my little red PCX :)

Only passed on the 11th September this year and am hooked, riding in the dark and the rain is not my favourite, but certainly a learning experience.

Very lucky as my hubby rides his bike and meets me at work and we ride home together, so feel a lot safer. I'm down in the South and hope to in the next couple of years to take my A1 licence - not sure I wish to go any larger than a 125.

Anyhow that's a little about me and looking forward to being apart of this group

Hello, and welcome to the forum.

The cold and dark isn't nice but at least when the better weather comes in you'll enjoy it even more.

Welcome, and enjoy your ride.

That's pretty cool that your husband meets you to ride home together. I am sure that it helps you build confidence.
