Flyin around ..PCX video

Post by easyrider »

Experimenting with attenuating wind noise on my camera built in mic, I did this video . I ran into some hobbyists along the way. Thought I would share the run.. Its about 12 min long..

A beautiful day for a ride.
Those rc aircraft suggest a cheap and safe way to own and fly your own plane. No license required. Great idea for a hobby.

Yes, I was surprised at how well they are maneuvered. I have seen these some years back before this riding discovery but they all had fueled engines. They fueled them up then started with a portable battery. This is first time I ever seen them using a battery for power, and the person told me that no more fuel these days due to environmental issues but the battery power today is the ultimate. Fantastic in his words. I don't much about them, but seems like these drones they have out might be an interesting challenge someday. I have a few high up bird houses and would like to see whats going in them, but one guy told me that a drone would scare the shit out of them, so maybe not a good idea ??
