It's been a bit over a year, so it was time to do a follow-up review of the PCX.

Great video..Thx .. My biggest complaints are the seat is terrible and probably designed for smaller folks like mostly Thailand size individuals . Anybody over 5.8' might find it uncomfortable. I also think its a bit light for highway speeds over 50-55 mph. What I like is the nimbleness, and maneuverability in tight spaces and handling .Easy to store and drive around tight spaces and has decent acceleration when needed (under 45). If going to use this for highway speeds I would recommend something a little heavier for comfort. My 2 cents??

My PCX is the '15 LED version and the only issue with the seat is sliding forwards when wearing waterproofs - a slight up-bit towards the front half would help but I wish they also made the under-seat height about 1cm larger (to store helmets). The PCX is a mostly a commuter bike not high-way rider so weight is good for that purpose and aids fuel efficiency for their sales figures.

I traded down from a beautiful Burgman 400 because I needed more of an 'around town' scooter than an 'on the road again' bigger scooter, though there are times when I wish I had the Burgman still. For running to the store or going out for coffee, which is usually within a mile or two of my house, the little PCX is excellent. For just cruising around country roads at 45 mph, it is excellent. For just going up to the lake to take some pictures or just having fun locally, the PCX is great.
However, for going any distance at higher speeds, it is very uncomfortable.
So if you are wanting to use your bike for commuting at high speeds...freeway speeds....please consider a bigger bike, unless you are only riding at that speed for one exit, which is usually only a mile.
The PCX is not meant for cruising or as a 'sport' bike. It is an economical, 'get around town' scooter that is fun and dependable.

All very good points. I try to keep my videos under 10 minutes, so there is often bits and pieces I leave out either due to so much other content, or due to having already covered it in another film. For the speed thing, I took the PCX on the highway a while ago to show it isn't the best idea,
And yes, it is indeed best at lower speed commuting, that's why I do these "scoot commute" sessions. The closest I get to the highway on my commute is the bridge over U.S. 30. None of the roads top 45 mph, which makes it perfect PCX territory.
