It rains so much here I were my Olympia rain liner almost all year round.

Not bothered by any rain - never had any issue in 2.5 yr's on the PCX in heavy rain or flooded roads - just extra careful when winter comes and spots of ice.

You need to take it off occasionally

In London. It's balmy all year round...

If it did rain it would be soft southern rain. Pimms probably.

Pfft.

Very strange going home yesterday - bright sun out the windows but soon as I left the underground car park it was spitting with dark clouds ahead - a few miles on raining heavier and for the next 8 miles home, loads of flooded roads and water pouring out of drains (many junctions were 4-5" under water due to poor drainage). No hassle though - waterproofs did their thing, trusty bike did it's thing and trusty IRC's never let me down yet. Love em, never had any issues with the IRC's ever - dry or wet, gravel or flooded roads - and they have lasted well.

You are right and I should probably wash them more often.

Does the smell attract or scare away the bears?

I had to jam on the brakes this evening when a black bear ran in front of me.

"Does the smell attract or scare away the bears?"

Depends on when their last meal was. :o
