We seldom get a mini series about the hobbies we love. Perhaps look beyond the reviews and enjoy the love and passion of some guys and a motorbike... TONIGHT! on the Discovery channel 8pm CST

Wow! this is turning out to be a very interesting series. About to develop the first twin engine and I'm completely sucked into the characters and story so far. If you are missing this you should make some effort to record it.

Second episode tonight and the birth of the first twin engine design that takes Harley into the legend it became. Blowing out many other upstart motorbike companies including Indian. Great story people!!! Wooden race tracks, leather helmets... you have to be loving this mini series? No?

No fans of the movie or the engines that brought us our beloved motorbikes? Wow you guys disappoint me, you do know Honda wasn't doing anything in the 1900's right? Come on, formulate a thought on the subject people....please!

I've DVR'd a couple episodes based on your hearty recommendation Homie, but I haven't had a chance to watch them just yet - looking forward to it though

Good man, I look forward to your thoughts. I have to say I get it now, there are so called experts scrutinizing every detail frame by frame and they fail to understand the impact of the movie on people like me. People who love our country for the opportunity it offered to industry and invention. People in a garage with just an idea pounded out in sweat and steel fighting for every edge to better the dream machine and not having to deal with government and over regulation in the process. Spawning generations of rebels who have the same dream keeping it firmly planted in the thrill, the sounds and smells of fire and grease regardless of the world that threatened to spoil it for financial gain and security.
This is why we ride people here is the raw instinct that defines a mans soul. Watch the dam movie folks and the next time you pull up beside a big twin think about the heritage.

Those guys that designed the original Harley would if had a choice
would build a PCX
like the BMW horizontal twin some manufactures can't escape their heritage
V twins?

Watched all three parts, the first two were very good, the third one slightly less, but still pretty good. Very similar to the series on discovery called "American genius", especially the episode of Glenn Curtiss versus The Wright brothers.
