For those who like cruising with tunes Why Not!, FYI by positioning the speaker behind the windshield the music is funneled and channeled to the forehead. Actually cancels out some exhaust noise.

I don't like my tunes blaring at a stop light and fidelity is really compromised outside the helmet. But I love riding with tunes. I use the SENA system 10R that puts the whole thing in the helmet via Bluetooth. Sat radio on my iPhone. Great, private sound.

I also have the earphones attachment but I think anything inside the helmet or earphones could be compromising State law.. not sure however. Driving on country roads doesn't bother anyone and the windshield design channels plus the wind wind forces the sounds into the helmet which counteracts exhaust noise.

You have to watch out for those country roads. There are deer that love to stand in the road, and I have to wonder if they would be attracted to the music. I also found that the quality suffered whenever I was in a curve. With my helmet on and the face shield down it was hard enough to hear the music as it was. Add in the wind noise and other noises and the music just didn't sound that good. I did find that I could attach my iPod and then listen either through a set of bluetooth earbuds or a big bluetooth speaker, and the sound would be much better. However, the bluetooth speaker has to be a quality one and it has to be able to sit between the windshield and the instrument panel, which would then cause it to rub on the windshield and leave marks. Put felt on the corners and that will solve that problem. Do tie it in place though. If you tumble you won't be thinking about that speaker.

I don't do music when I ride, but I do listen to mp3 podcasts. I use earphones inside a full face helmet and even with the speakers stuck in my ears I still have trouble hearing when I get above a certain speed.

I must say, that is a powerful little speaker you have there.

What makes this particularly unique is because the speaker is amplified and is positioned inside a national tall windshield. The curvature and design actually directs and funnels the sound directly to the forehead especially when underway the flow of the air additionally pushes it into your helmet . It works pretty good for me as it cancels some of the scooter noise. I am going to look into some Bluetooth ear plugs as well but so far this is doing well for me.I have very little FM stations near me so recorded music , Pandora, etc are the only options. Internet radio will eat up data and battery on your phone.
