I think I will cut the grass. One of the kids has remembered what today is. The rest are too busy arguing with each other.

My kid's in jail, so I have to cut the grass. LOL. At least my lovely wife took me to Five Guys for lunch.

Daughters round with the grandkids for the first Sunday lunch since we flooded on Boxing Day.
Lying on top of the bed watching Calliou with one of the grandkids who is slowly falling asleep...

Honkerman, one of our 6 goes that route ever so often. We just had to learn to let go and let him learn things the hard way.

Thanks--you, too!
Woke up to cards and gifts--while still in bed. Brunch with wife and daughter. Son and his girlfriend joined us for dinner--shrimp and steaks on the grill. Key Lime pie for dessert. Yum. Got waited on all day and, other than having to clean a clogged AC condensate line, didn't have to lift a finger. Ahhhh....

Glad those that responded had a pleasant day or at least part of the day
gn2, Sorry to read that you had to work, guys like you help make the world go round. Someone has to do it right? Don't know what it is you do but, thanks for using your time to do it. Your wife loves you, she was there as always
2yous, that's Sweet! Watching a cartoon show like that together. Hugs. Love it!
honkerman and Mel...trouble brewing on Dad's Day? Oh...not good. I'm sorry. I bet you guys did the best you could raising them. The rest is up to them. A few hard knocks might straighten them out eventually. Time will tell. Hope you two enjoyed your day just the same
Bash, thank you. Alrighty you had a very nice day. Steak and Shrimp on the barbie, yum! A few minutes of A/C work and Poof! Father's Day was a winner
homie, You did exactly what I thought You would do and....I'm thinking you got a short ride in too

What was on the barbie for din-din? No matter, another winner day!
Me, I spent the afternoon at the Cemetary visiting my Dad. My brother at 71 passed away last month, (5/14) and I really felt the need to talk to him. And, I did. He listened...no choice. Afterwards
I weeded and tidied his area, then washed and shined his gravestone. Birds just love sitting and pooping on it. Made a mess. I had all the "gear" I needed to get the house cleaned.
Before leaving I took several photos to show Mom today in the Nursing Home. She had no idea that I was going. She will be so glad I did! I look forward to Her big smile today.
The evening was quiet, I wanted it to be, and that's okay

Being half way around the world from our kids, visits are limited to Skype. Spoke to our son and his family in Saturday night (our time) and our daughter and her husband Monday morning (our time). Great bookends to Father's Day!
GN2 & YouYou - I also worked on Sunday, as I do each week.

Two days after Father's Day is my birthday.
