The Perfect PCX.....Help me spec the ultimate PCX

Hi guys
I own a Honda ANF INNOVA 125 and a 2013 PCX 150 and can honestly not say which one is my favourite. The ANF is such a basic easy bike to work on and has a better top end when weather permits, it doesnt like hot dry days , performance slightly drops. The PCX is much more advanced, gives a much smoother ride , has lots more pack space and no chain to maintain. I am sure with a few improvements the PCX can become the ultimate scooter. Now, i dont want to debate how to improve the ANF, It had its days and parts and accesories will become more difficult to get. Instead, i want to look at what other PCX owners would like to see on the ultimate PCX. Who knows, just maybe someone from Honda follows the discussion and takes this to the design team. In America and Europe aftermarket parts are affordable, but other parts of the world it becomes expensive if you look at shipping costs and exchange rates

My ideal PCX will be a scooter that:
1- Is affordable to many
2- In original form is safe and easy to use by teenagers daily commuters.
3- In Stock form it has to be fuel efficient
4- Can be modified cheaply and still be reliable, ie stock exhaust can be freeflow up to muffler. If you want better performance only change the muffler and not the full system.
5- Based on personal commuting requirements / style, Ie if you use freeways you must be able to increase topend to 120 km/h with minor changes without breaking the bank.
6- Upgraded headlights or mounts for aftermarket mini spots
7- Kickstart or easy way to get it started if battery is flat and you stuck somewhere.
8- GPS connection
9- Way to lock breaks if you seated on a slope and needs both hands to do something like zipping your jacket, etc

The list can grow, i would like other owners views to help me build the ultimate PCX.

Tx nico

I had to go see what is a Honda ANF INNOVA 125

About all we need for PCX right now is ABS... personally I don't care for a full step through scooter, that would blow my skirt up.

The only things that I would change on my 2013 PCX are have disc brakes for both front and back, change the lights to those that they now have (LED), and a larger fuel tank, which they have now. So it looks like the only thing the Honda did not do for an improvement was to put disc brakes on the rear. Oh, I changed out the seat almost immediately on mine, but the new one seems to have solved that problem also.

Is this what we are comparing? Not sure because it's evolving in image so much.

Physically or metaphorically?

I have always fancied an Innova! how do you get on with the fuel tank, 3.7l sounds like a lot of filling up!

My ideal PCX would be a Forza 125 with a 200cc motor.

Most mfrs don't want you adding things to the elec system so I don't think that will happen. Honda pretty much designs the whole package to be left alone. I would like the rear disc added .

The Innova is my tongue in cheek project to poke fun at the BMW and KTM adventure bikes with their large panniers, top boxes ,GPS and spots that i see on the road every day. So i started building my own cheap version mini aventure bike, it has a 18 can coolerbox, 5lt jerry can, spotlights, frame to attach from panniers to garden equipment, old ammobox for a top box, mini spots, 12v socket charger. Anyway this is all in good fun. 3.7 Lt fuel tank is a pain, i need to fill up every 2.5 days. Next on my list is to add external fuel tank, will use the space in the "step through" area

Every day?
That's truly odd, hereabouts the Ewan + Charlie wannabees only venture out for their adventures to the local pub/cafe/greasy spoon/layby on sunny Sunday afternoons.
Which isn't all that often....

Biker: "I got it (1200GS) three years ago for its ability to cross continents and swallow the miles with ease"
Me: "So how many miles has it got on the clock now?"
Biker: "About three thousand"

Fantastic.

Don't bother with the external fuel tank just lash a plastic Jerry can to the top box
