I didn't notice any changes except they brought back Pearl White and added Dark Pearl Blue which looks very cool 8)

I noticed they just added the 2017 Grom too - which has been given LED headlights, a new muffler design, and a tiered seat (which I would think is a very bad idea on a bike this small):

Oh you know that will not be well received by that stunt crowd of hooligans, they don't actually sit on it do they?

Exactly, we don't even like it on the PCX!

Don't the designers and engineers at Honda look at what riders are doing with their bikes and what we all bitch about online. We don't want to be locked down in one position on the seat and Grom nuts wheelie all day according to youtube

It already had a tiered seat.

Yeah, but you were saying the older model had a smooth seat that wasn't tiered, and Embattle said....

Ooh, nevermind... :?

Oh ya'll...travel back in time on this thread. I just popped in to take a peek n read up.
It's getting a little funny in here with ya'll Criss-crossing your seats.
"Put me in for a 2017 Grom with a PCX seat please"
I'm lovin' it!
Humor Feels Good, is Good! :D

If you follow the bouncing ball, it all makes sense.

I should probably have started a different thread to talk about the Grom - sorry guys :D

Back on topic - I guess sales of the PCX in the USA must be pretty good now? The 2017 model year will make 3 years in a row without a break like they had for '12 and '14 here. I'm also happy to see them bring back the Pearl White as it will help keep my '15 Pearl White looking fresh - but then again it won't be as rare anymore either.

Pardon me for going against the grain, but, I love it and it is one of the main reasons I have the PCX150. You see, I have a 2008 Suzuki Address 125 for work. It does its job well. It is reliable and not over-hungry for servicing. It is legal here in Japan to have a passenger on a bike of 125cc or over, and the Address is (just about) powerful enough to keep up with traffic with 2 people on it. However, the seat is too short for that, by about 4 or 6 inches in my opinion, and it is barely tiered.

I bought the PCX as a good compromise (thinking it would 'replace' and not 'add to' my Address) between a go-to-work scooter and one that is OK for 2-up.... and much of that is because of the seat. I have a 650 bike which of course is better for 2-up, but (apart from its great fuel economy) my main praise for the PCX is due to its comfort with my lady on the back. We are each only about 5 feet 6 inches tall and 140-150 pounds, so we are 'small and light enough' for it to do well as a compromise go-to-work / day-trip scooter.

Just my 2 cents worth, and sorry its was a bit long :)

...and when will the 200cc version be here?
I was sucked in by an April Fools' thread here about that, but I wish it were true.
The Suzuki Burgman 200 is a great borderline town/open road scooter and I have rented one a few times.
I do wish there was a PCX 200.
Any more than that, and it is no longer a good (cheap enough) go-to-work scooter, but at 200cc? I reckon it would be lovely.

Thanks for the info, I am now going to think about the new Honda Grom that I absolutely do not need :)

Wow!
The page opened with the yellow one displayed first, and the first thing I thought was 'Giant Wasp'.
Here in Japan we have (sadly) something called the ozuzume-bachi, which I think is Giant Japanese Hornet or Giant Asian Hornet in English.
That is exactly what came to mind when I saw the yellow Grom.

Now I want one. I don't 'need' one, mind you, I just 'want' one.
But with a bike and 2 scooters already...... I may have to replace the older scooter.
