Top Box in Thailand

With the wet weather coming in Thailand, I decided to mount a top box. I can always remove it and re-install the metal rack.
I decided to get the Givi E450N - a 45 liter box, with capacity for 2 helmets. This box is made in Malaysia, and is much cheaper that the Italian ones.
The story that I was told years ago was that the Malaysian factory was making counterfeit Givi boxes - and the quality was so good that Givi bought the factory. A good story that might be true.
I chose not to spend $50 plus for the Givi SR 1136 mounting kit - plus shipping charges and import duty, or carrying it over on my next trip. I found this locally made mounting rack for $25 that fits the PCX, the Forza, and other scooters.
It comes with multiple holes and spacers to fit the different bikes and baseplates.
And the finished product
Total cost for box and mounting kit - $155 USD
