Honda Protection Plan

Loosely translated that means "extended warranty"

Has anyone in here bought it? If so, were/are you glad you did?
Has anyone in here had expensive problems and wish you would have bought it?

No, I do not have the extended warranty. I have 9,600 miles in 14 months, and have not had a warranty problem.

I tend not to go for it on bikes that I buy new. So far, so good. (Knocks on wood)

I purchased an extended warranty on my wife's pcx but it did not good. The problem she had was with the driver en clutch bearings, and guess what...if it says 'clutch' it is not covered. I had no other problems with the bike.

I got fast-talked into a plan on the SW I bought last August. It's usually not a good value, though all it takes is one expensive repair to get some/all of your money back. Also know that keeping the warranty in effect requires strict adherence to the maintenance schedule.
Also got an extended warranty on a pair of Harleys I bought (wife's and mine). Never used either policy but they were transferrable to the new owners and made the sales easier.
