Differences in 2013 or 2014

I was wondering if there is much difference between a 2013 and 2014 PCX 150? I bought a 2014 in Thailand, and while I am home in the states, I was going to buy an English version owners manual. They don't have the 14, only the 13.
Any big differences to make note of such as oil capacities, operating procedures, etc?

I didn't think they made a 2014. They did make a 2015 in 2014 though, so maybe yours is a 2015. Does it have LED lights and integrated turn signals (vs the ones on a pole that the American 2013 has). The 2015 has a better seat and the turn signals in the back are like a dimple that sticks out on each side.
It is my understanding from reading the various threads on this forum that they did not produce a manual for the 2015, but rather they had an addendum to the 2013 manual. You might check with a shop.

I am pretty sure they called them 2014's in Thailand, based on the release date.

Yeah, the 2015 and 2014 are the same. Some countries don't do the model year crap and go by the build date.

To the OP: The 2013 models have some differences in body styling and engine performance. The 2014/15/16 models make .5 more horsepower than the 2013. Also, the seat on the third generation of the PCX is different, lacking the spine numbing rump hump. Overall dimensions are the same, and the engine size is unchanged.

Oh, one other thing, you no longer have to drill holes in your rear wing cover to add a top box mount.

Hi Ganoga, :P Welcome aboard the forum(s).
PCX model years sold in the U.S.A. were/are the: 2011, 2013, 2015 and now 2016.

To answer you briefly, the 2015 and 2016 ARE different from the 2011 and 2013 model yrs.
If you need further explanation on that, follow up to this post asking what it is you need to know.

I'm thinking you want this info now: If you're buying a 2013-2016 PCX,
you can purchase an all-in-one Service/Shop Manual online here:

http://www.helminc.com/helm/product2.as ... itemtype=N

That ^^ manual covers those model years.
Hope some of this helps. I know it gets confusing. If you're still in question, ask away :P Good Luck!

Thanks for all the replies. My local Honda dealer told me that the reason I cannot order an owners manual in English is that there were so many leftover 2013 PCXs in the states that Honda did not import any in 2014. So I cannot even order the owners manual here. I did order the larger shop manual. Same price from the dealer as from Helm, so I ordered it from them. Maybe I will order a 2015 owners manual just for quick reference. Maybe a 2015 is closer to the one I want for an owners manual.
I really like my bike except for three things.
The rear shocks were too light. I had the bike shop put on a pair of aftermarket air shocks, (OKD Evo Nitrogen Gas Shocks) which have adjustable preload. These are much better, although a bit stiff with a single rider. (I am 180lbs) I had wanted the YSS but they were out of stock so I tried these.
The seat was not comfortable on longer rides due to the hump, and made my back hurt after an hour of riding. I got the seat built up so it is completely flat from back to front, and it is much more comfortable on long trips. ($7 and an hour wait)
Third thing is the lack of places to tie down any cargo. I do have a big Givi box on back, but sometimes transport larger stuff. It's my only vehicle, so this is a bit of a problem, but nothing that can't be solved.

I have added a set of permanent tied owns to my pcx that work ideally for carrying extra cargo. You could also just run some tiedowns of some sort under your seat temporarily and attach another one to the base of your tail box mount, though you would have to be careful not to scratch the plastics. I have a thread somewhere showing how to attach the permanent tiedowns. I'm not sure how you can look it up, but I am sure it can be found using the search feature.
