PCX how many kilometers to change gear oil？

I just checked the maintenance schedule and it simply says to replace every 2 years. It doesn't even specify the weight or grade of oil to use.

In the PCX "How To" sub-forum
I changed mine when I bought my (used) scoot; it had just over 3,000 miles on it at that time.
I used fully synthetic Mobil1, 15W-50 for extra shear resistance & a better anti-wear additive package.

The final drive oil is the same as the engine oil - any good fully synth 4-stroke oil will do fine. I just changed mine and what came out looked fine - it does not have a hard life.

First changed my gear oil at 800km (together with first engine oil change), as told by dealer (I know nothing). Only used like 1/4 of the bottle. I don't remember when he said the next one should be.. Maybe at 5000km or 8000km..

The owners manual, which should be supplied with every bike shows the service schedule including the final drive oil, which in the ones I've seen show as 2 year change intervals (normally 'see note 4' which says every 2 years).

Because KY is preferable.

You are probably conflating two issues. You should have used ky jelly when you stuck the corn cob up there
