I love having a riding buddy. She's a canine, but still makes the rides more special.

Wrote a short blog about it.

Nice!

It looks like you have a dog head costume over your helmet, maybe?

That's a Rowlf the Dog helmet cover. :D

Just read your today blog, your dog is adorable! Is she a bichon frise (maltese/poodle mix) or a full maltese? I had a bichon frise (rip) he went everywhere with me too.
Yeah Paul, you're a true scoot hooligan and that's a Fun thing! 8) Share with us...where do you purchase helmet covers like that? I never saw one b4.
(Note to self: must brush up on Web surf skills, and be more diversified ;)

Maggie is a full blooded Maltese. She absolutely loves scooter rides too. :D

http://www.ironhorsehelmets.com/ Is where I got my helmet cover. My wife gave me the money for fathers' day last year. I had wanted Animal, but Rowlf was better.

Funny story, last July a lady got so excited about waving at me, she nearly crashed into the stop sign on the opposite corner.

Cool website, thanks!
That lady deserves her very own crash lid (with an incognito cover)

Lookin' good there. My smallest canine is right at 45 pounds and stubborn as the day is long - think I will enjoy dog scootin' vicariously through you!

Never hurts to have a wing-puppy...

Would need a sidecar for mine--he's 125 pounds (pic at left), and doesn't lean well.

Grew up with Maltese. Great dogs. Wanted a bigger dog when out on my own, though--think I may have gone too far in that direction.

Paul, you need dog paw gloves to go with your helmet cover.

I have Jack Russells (4) and they don't hold still very long, so I would be worried that he/she would jump off whenever I stopped, thinking that the ride was over...or I would pull up beside a car with a dog in it and my dog would launch toward it.

The carry bag I use has a harness latch on it which I attach to Maggie's collar. This keeps her safely in place.

My two favorite breeds are the Maltese and Great Pyrenees. If I wasn't allergic to the latter, I would have one.

Nice! I'm afraid my dog and I would exceed the PCX's weight limit :D
