I bought some that required that I take the end weights off on the handlebar. They wouldn't come off so I gave up. Then someone provided a link for do-it-yourself guards and I made those for my wife'said bike. They worked quite well. I took them off just before the accident. I will wait until fall to reinstall them. They connect to the mirror hole on the handlebar.

I have tried also, but without success. The covers did hit the Givi windscreen.

I have these http://tinyurl.com/jk6bjpp, available for a few £'s more from the UK and they have been reviewed as very good for stopping a lot of the wind without the problems of bars muffs (hard to get your hands in, levers being pressed when no support bar fitted, etc). They fit fine but will hit the screen when you get near to full lock, which I never use.

I got the same ones as iceman. Easy fit. As to hitting windshield, just glue a couple of bits of rubber tube over the stops on the triple clamp. Sorted.

That's not a bad idea. Cheers
