PCX200

Just announced yesterday:
The 2017 PCX will have 200cc as a direct replacement for the PCX150.
The price is expected to be increased by about $ 500.
The PCX200 will have about 5 more hp than the current PCX150, but the
gas mileage will actually improve slightly due to taller gearing that will be
used for the more powerful PCX200.
The PCX200 will weigh about 300 pounds ready to ride.
Now I'll have to decide what to do with my PCX150......

Thanks, White Noise. This is just for you:

And the PCX200 will have wider profile 14 inch tires for better grip
and a higher speed rating.
One staffer estimates that the PCX200 will be speed limited
to ~ 79 mph (rather than the current ~ 63 mph).
Heated grips and seat will be standard on the new model, along with
a state-of-the-art cruise control.....plus a heads up speedometer
display.......and ABS will be standard, of course.......

Stop, Johnny, just stop.........

Yep my wife is a clown sometimes. Plus I forgot she was leaving to Michigan this weekend so no wife, no car in the garage, stalker app shows her out of state and all the cabinet doors in the house OPEN! I really must try to remember this stupid April fool day next year

Oh, I forgot to mention:

The PCX200 will have a supercharger option ( $2,000 extra) that gives the scooter about 100 hp.
With that option installed, you'll have to replace the drive belt ~ every 100 miles, though. No
problem: Just replace the rear tire and drive belt at the same time. Also, I think that the
supercharger package also includes a 1000 watt sound system.....not sure where they put those
15 inch woofers. You can play Elvis classics at glass-breaking volume while cruising through
the WalMart parking lot. Oh, what fun !! Hunka, hunka burnin' love.......

I love my PCX150, and the PCX200 should be even better.

A little bit more info about the supercharger package:

It includes a wider real wheel which will accept a drag racing slick.....
plus an anti-wheelie bar that can be flipped up and latched onto the
back side of your top box when not in use at the drag strip or when
street racing (Honda thinks of everything ! ).

Of course,a premium supercharger setup will also be available
for those who want to run nitromethane at the drag strip.
BTW: Nitromethane fuel now costs between $135 to $ 150
per gallon, so you might want to think twice before choosing
this option. It could make picking up groceries for your old lady
a pretty expensive proposition.

Hope this helps !!!

For those who covet the imaginary PCX200 there's the very real Burgman or Citystar 200.

Yeah, GN2, but do those 2 scooters have the supercharger option (or even the
15 inch woofers) ? You can't go stylin' through the WalMart parking lot on
those, blasting out hits like " Snoop Dogg Sings Classic Christmas Rap Tunes",
"Jay Z. Sings Classic Sinatra Rap", "Donnie and Marie Osmond Hits", "Marie
Lost 50 MORE Pounds Rap", etc.

I don't think so.

I'll just wait for the PCX200.....although I probably won't opt for the nitro
supercharger option.

Nope they have none of that nonsense tat, but the Citystar has sophisticated class and elegance which is altogetherly much more betterer.

Of course if we want to be serious for a moment, there was once upon a time two supercharged scooters on sale.
Both were built by Peugeot.
(Jetforce Compressor and Satelis Compessor)

Fekk!

I was completely sucked in by that!

I was just about to write about how I compared the PCX150 to the Suzuki Burgman 200 before buying, and slightly regret not going for the Burgman despite its poorer fuel economy.

I want to swear at you all day for that.... but a super-user might ban me for it :)

The new Honda PCX200 will look and run a lot like this one (which served as the prototype)
when equipped with the optional nitro supercharger.

I couldn't help noticing that the top box hasn't been installed yet........and it's so noisy that
you wouldn't be able to hear Snoop Dogg rapping even with the 15 inch woofers. Don't
worry. Honda will work out those minor details. Here it is:

The excitement builds .........
