I've heard nothing about this but I'd definitely be interested in one.

That picture is very confusing though. It looks like the carb is hooked up to the hybrid battery. That can't be right.

Would be good to know the real source of the picture because without the supporting text its pretty much meaningless on its own.
Honda have been mucking around with hybrids for a long time, but what this picture represents is a mystery.

Probably nonsense. That would add $2-3,000US to the price of a PCX.

Hybrid fuel cells are usually costly to replace/exchange, for cars anyway.

Well it obviously wouldn't be a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle. You must be thinking battery. The latest battery technology costs about $0.75/ Wh retail and basically lasts forever in a hybrid because they are never operated anywhere near full or empty. I suppose it would be pretty easy to put a hub motor for the front wheel of an otherwise normal PCX and put a 1kWh battery under the seat. For about $2,000. For 5 extra hp that would last 20 minutes.

So, what, if this came to fruition, would it give you, in theory.

Slightly better fuel economy in stop and go traffic from the recovered energy when braking. And 5hp extra for a few minutes at a time to get up a hill or bomb through a short superhighway section.

Wow, you are on the inside track. Does Honda know you are letting their data go?
