was sitting between two cars at the front of the queue after filtering through about half a mile of traffic jam (completely legal here).
light changed, not wanting to hang around I opted for some wot
well the back wheel just spun for a second or two and as my brain was trying to come to terms with this my back tyre and friction re-aquianted themselves.
The result was me pulling a wheelie and shooting off into the night (well up to about thiry five miles an hour and then less so).
Two things :
1 I will forever be a little embarrassed by my aggressive start from the lights (but not much)
2 I did a Wheelie (s**t myself and hope it doesn't happen again but I wish someone had the footage)

I can pull a wheelie on my PCX150. All I have to do is sit all the way back on the seat. Then go about 3-4mph, let off the throttle, go wot and it will bring the front wheel off the ground.

I have done wheelies on other honda bikes but never on a scooter! I have only seen it done by one person on a PCX and I would not try to duplicate it.

Please Keep your tire "contact patches" in contact with the ground.
Look at this video, do you see a lot of tire/ground contact?
So why lift one tire completely off the ground?

agreed... wheels on the ground. even on super bikes if the suspension is calibrated for your weight and load the front will stay down.

Yes, I'm tempted to put a warning sticker near my throttle.
Every time I forget and crank it like I did on my old (carbed) scooter,
the front wheel starts to lift up.
