So just finished installing the Malossi multivar 2000 variator on my 2013 pcx 125. First impressions are good. The revs are a lot higher, but it seems to be right in the powerband compared to the original variator. I also installed the yellow spring in the clutch, using the 10.5 grams rollers.

The original rollers were not too bad after 8000 miles with only a few flatspots.

Soon to add the arrow reflex 2.0 exhaust once it arrives, so hopefully will pull a bit more after installation.

Thanks guys for a great forum, would not have had a clue how to install the variator without the great how to guides!!

TBH, pretty straight forward. The only tricky bit was getting the nut off the clutch to get the torque spring in, but otherwise straight forward. I put a new belt in as well. If you follow the guides on here it shouldn't be a problem.
