Can't seem to find any Michelin City Grips for the front in the U.S.A.
Every site lists them as "no longer available".

Anyone know what is going on?

Okay, thanks ali, but, the part number is different from the OEM Michelin #

Not sure if it's right.

I got a set sent from Europe a couple of months ago, rear from Germany and front from France, total cost £70 inc postage. Very happy with them

They did eventually notify me they had one in... but I see they are out again. Wouldn't hurt to get on their list if you aren't needing it right now. Even if you find it somewhere else when they get back to you post it available and someone here will buy it.

Not in pressing need now, but, I follow your drift; I'll get on their list.
Thanks.
Just wonder why the American shortage...

I don't know, its been like this since I purchase PCX. Almost like special ordering and waiting for Michelin to redirect one away from overseas. I think almost any US distributor can get one but they never have in stock.

Could it be lack of demand?

Could be I guess...
But, to me, that would be like shopping for a bra with only one cup...
I mean, eventually, you're going to have to put the other one...in something!

I gather scooter sales are not that big a business in the US?, and perhaps many owners make do with stock tyres or whatever is on sale.

Don't forget Revzilla.com. Even though they also show out of stock, they usually notify you when it comes in if you leave your email address. Their price is $46.92 for the front tire. We have purchased from them in the past and they are quick to ship once the tire is in stock. They seem to come in only twice a year.

checked motorcycle superstore and chapparal motorsports on line. they show both in their system just out of stock. i think if you notify them they will respond to you when they come in. i guess it depends how long you can wait

Revzilla now has the 90/90 14 City Grips for the front, in case anyone wants them.

Thanks Mel. Just noticed Motorcycle-Superstore suddenly has them also.
Coincidence? I THINK NOT!
