Hi folks, returnee to two wheels here. Had a BSA C15 SS80 in the late sixties/early seventies. Before getting a car. Never did bike test though so back to L plates after all these years. Here under slightly false pretences as after browsing site for some weeks went to Honda dealership in Aberdeen intending to get a PCX. However found the seat profile impossible to get on with (short legs + knee injury and profile of seat spread my legs too wide to put a foot down comfortably/safely) Tried a 1 year old low mileage S-Wing FES 125 and although the seat is overall larger the profile is perfect for me. So hope it is ok to be on here as an S-Wing interloper. Scoot was delivered to me on friday mid day. Straight out for 60 mile run with a massive grin on my face. Absolutely love it. All those years wasted on four wheels PAH! Don't shoot me please, it is a Honda after all

Scooters is scooters.
Especially if you're talking Honda.
The hump on sport and touring scooters can be a bit rough to get a leg over if you're in any way impaired (bad hip here), so I'm glad you found one that worked for you.

I met a guy yesterday here in Thailand, he said he worked in Scotland for some years he said it has a lot in common with Thailand in that a lot of the guys wear skirts!
If you don't understand send me a postcard!
Welcome Robert. Did the first ride evoke feelings of freedom as it did all those years ago?

Thumbs Up and Welcome to ya Robert! Someone's feeling Young(er) and VERY Happy Why not!
It's a long time coming then....you were overdue! Back in the saddle cause nuttin' feels better than cutting through open space no matter What yer riding!
Sorry about your knee, not good. I'm hearing a lot of that lately. Recently family, friends and neighbors are getting them tended to,...fixed. Awhile back, I broke my back (and other wee bits).
I stopped riding to heal then slid back on. Off I went! Friends and family thought I was NUTS, (still do) but heh! "It's My Life, and I'll Do What I Want!" (not aiming to hurt anyone of course).
Soo, I say: Onward Mate! Let's Roll!!
Hmm, I must find and bump a thread....excuse me. (Hint, it has to do with members age bracket (shhh..) (playing is not mandatory, by no means)
