Since my dad paid £300 for me to speak to a solicitor to try and sort out my void car insurance (whole other story, dont wanna talk about it, makes me depressed) I wanna get my dad a kickass christmas present, but have NO ideas. Anyone think of anything?

Does he have any hobbies?

My dad always works in his workshop, so I usually pick up on what tool he has wanted or needs and get him that.

You could make him something too. Even though we're older, the parents still love homemade gifts the best.

Not really, all he ever does is work, watch TV and wash his car . And i bought him a car wash kit last year. Hes refusing to let me give him the £300 so thats why i wanna get him a really good present.

You could get him a nice box set for his favorite show, or for some of his old favorites. Someone got me the entire Monty Python Flying Circus set on DVD, and I almost had an aneurysm laughing at it for so long.

Does he have a buffer to polish wax on his car? That's always a good thing to get for someone who pampers his car.

Be sure to get him some nice polishing compound to go with it. No man should be without a good buffer. :)

You could also do the labor the first time, or help your Dad unless he is the type of person who likes to do it all himself. I'd be really happy if someone did a first class wash & wax on my car. Sadly, it generally is me or it doesn't get done. Our cars are not nearly as well loved as our scooters and bicycles .... so admittedly they often look like they need a wash.

Sounds like your car wash mentality is like my wife's. She considered her car getting rained on a wash. I think the only time it ever was actually washed was when we sold it.

I am yeah
It's a bit complicated though because I've got plenty of money to pay it off, but I don't know whats happening with my car insurance and everything yet so I'm keeping the money to one side incase they try to make me pay out for all sorts of bullshit.
