Sitting Watching the festivities on the Television. Times Square New York. Rock n Rolling, Screaming, Laughing, Singing and Dancing. A bunch of Party Animals celebrating together. Fireworks, confetti, and Frank Sinatra's "New York, New York."
The Police are everywhere! In every nook and cranny, air, land and sea. Watching, hovering, protecting the Million folks that have gathered there tonight. Sad in that respect, but unquestionably necessary.
Very soon the 10 second countdown will begin, and Times Square will commence dropping her huge 11,875 pound, 32,256 LED lit Waterford Crystal (2,688 triangles) Ball signifying the New Year...."2016"
A Beautiful display of Fireworks will flare at the Midnight Hour. Kisses, hugs and handshakes will be aplenty.

This year we are up cycling 2013 for 2016 to do our bit for the environment.

I hear ya! Police are EVERYWHERE around here. I dont party much anymore, I leave that to the youngsters. Luckily no friends called me for a ride home tonight so I didnt have to go into the war zone. Cleaning the house-hows that for a party! Anyways, peace out to everyone in the new year. Oh, and 2 you's-pedal cycling or motor cycling for the environment?

Oddly for me, I didn't do any festivities last night. Pulled the shoulder a bit at work while cooking (of all things), and left early to rest. Then watched Downton Abbey on Amazon until about 2 am because I couldn't sleep. I know, I know, but for some reason the show is comforting. It was the first time I haven't observed the changeover. I'm just not into it right now I guess.

Nothing blew up, my neighborhood is holding, Jesus didn't come, a holy war is on the horizon and the most important American election of a lifetime is happening... this year!
