hi, i came across this forum whilst searching for answers how to adjust my full beam on my pcx. bought it last year from honda dealer in suffolk and only just got round to this. its stock no mods, but i have been thinking about more acceleration and throaty exhaust. acceleration is not great but top speed just over 100km/hr. i thought it was pcx chang mai at first, then i saw the posts was in english :)

Do me a favorite and look at the manufacture date on the PCX, you say 2014 but that's every bit a pearl white 2015 Honda PCX humpless ESP. Might have been delivered in 2014 and I don't know why it doesn't say 150 on the badge but for the purposes of this forum change your models year to 2015 as very little if any body parts from 2014's are going to work for you. Looks just like it rolled off the same time as mine.

Don't know how the colors go, but in the UK that probably is a 125
Like these... http://www.honda.co.uk/motorcycles/rang ... rview.html

Otherwise the learner plate wouldn't be legal and they would sell less of them, I think

And quite a magnificent scooter it is, too

Some places in the world called them 2014's and some called them 2015's .... same bike

There is no 150 badge because it is only a 125 model in the UK. If it was any larger than that, a different permit classification would be needed to ride it, and as DailyRider mentioned, if that was the case, far fewer would sell in the UK.

I bought mine the end of May '14, so it's a '14 registration (licence plate) but apparently normally classed as a '15 model. As the new LED pcx's were being sold in the UK before mid '14, silly marketing crap to call them 15 models.

Could even have been made in the later part of 2013?

Will have to remember to check one day.
It seems Honda still fit a tax disc holder (looks like one on the front fork). Tax discs have not been a requirement (or issued) for some time yet loads of bike shops and Ebay still sell the holder - wonder why people still buy them?

it is a 2014 and is the first ones in UK. i had to wait 2 months for it as i wanted the new model. the 150cc is not available in the UK. mine is a 125cc

if the 150cc was available i would have bought that instead :)

the colour options was - grey / mat grey / white / black / blue or red [ cant remember ]

the mat grey looks nice but i decided on white so people can see me in the dark :)

how do i adjust the high beam light as its abit too high ? thanks

the learner plate is there as i only did my CBT test which is i can ride a 50cc without L plate, but i need to have L plate for 125cc [ max ]

the CBT [ compulsary basic training ] only covers me for 2 years, after that i need to resit the test [ simple riding test and theory test ]

but if i take my full bike licence and pass, then i can ride without L plates and can carry passanger.
