Any idea what it was? Almost looks like part of a satellite or something like that.

I got the impression the tailgaters and all the other lorries were working in unison to pull/push the heavy load. Not sure what it is - thought it was a Nasa rocket

Looks like some petrochemical refractor used in refinery. We used to work around those in my previous life. Errr... I mean previous job.
To my understanding humankind does not have a large enough carrier to lift a spacecraft of this size and weight (before you ask, the rockets start any spacecraft are surely this size, but they never accelerate to a speed to leave orbit)
I have no experience or scientific knowledge about vibrators though - so I cannot rule out that version entirely either. ;-)
