Brake noise

Hi I've noticed a buzzing noise when I'm applying the right brake. It goes away when I'm stopped. This is on a 2013 PCX with 475 miles. It seems to stop fine, however it does concern me a bit. Any help would be appreciated.

Normal. The right brake is the front and the rotor has holes drilled through it, making that sound as you apply pressure.

Aren't the brakes linked so pulling any lever applies the front brake?

On a PCX, the front brake(only) is the right lever(with the front fluid reservoir). It loads on the rotor much more(two more pistons) (so you can hear the holes). The left lever operates the rear brake and two of the pistons in the front brake caliper(that's the "linked" feature).
On modern geared bikes the left lever is the clutch (so watch it if you just got off one of those and onto the pcx). When I first got on mine, I ALMOST grabbed the left lever in preparation of a downshift as though I was on a geared bike. Took a minute to get used to as did pressing my right foot on the floorboard trying to apply the rear brake, HAH!

Me too. And at least a couple of times a year pulling in the clutch to brake on a bike.

Almost right, the left lever does the front centre piston, the right lever does the front outer two pistons.

Never noticed a buzzing noise using the front brake. Is it really normal or can happen?
