The pcx can give great mpg, but 340mpg is stretching the truth every so slightly!

Some of his more normal entries still give between 208 - 250mpg! (US or UK gallons) i.e. 171 miles using 3.1l. Prices are in Euro's, but distance (miles done) and litres used should be accurate for mpg? So not much of his entries make any real sense.

How does fuelly work? Is it self-reported? Based on the odometer?

I've heard of people tampering with the odometer to maintain a higher resell value, maybe that's what's going on.

Fuelly is reliant on users entering mileage and fuel used.
Along with spritmonitor.de it provides a very good idea of real world fuel economy.

I think there's a flaw in the milage between the 4th and 5th fill up. Over 1000 miles from 1.5 gallons?

There's error's on almost all that persons entries. Most of them are wrong - perhaps the odd error may creep in by mistake, but the mpg figures he gets from most of the entries should show him something is majorly wrong.

They do if you use common sense instead
