Is there a standard model rack that doesn't need any drilling to install onto the PCX150?

What I really want to do is set up a rack in the back of the scooter for pizza delivery. However, I don't want to drill.

To be able to support any kind of load the rack needs to be tied into the frame.

The piece that requires drilling is less than $20 to replace if you no longer want a rack installed.

It's number 13 in the diagram on the link below.

There's not a hot-swappable rack solution that I'm aware of.

The holes are pre marked on the underside of the top grab handle trim. You just need an appropriate sizes hole cutter to make the holes.

The givi rack mounts are the same as the Honda ones I believe and they bolt straight on once the holes are drilled.

One thing. Make sure you drill the holes in the plastic tail panel large enough that when the rack is mounted, the 4 rack posts don't touch the plastic hole edges AT ALL. In other words, you want a couple mm of space around the entire post, no contact between rack post and plastic panel.

I learned this the hard way. I drilled mine a tad too small, and one of the posts touched the plastic. The plastic cracked at this stress point.

Now, the good news is that the tail panel is really cheap from Honda, prepainted no less. But it's still a hassle to do the job again because I didn't pay enough attention to detail the first time.

Doesn't the pizza delivery company supply a bike?

Well, last night I installed a Givi rack on my PCX150 (2015) and no drilling was needed.

Wow Great Pics and so many yes I agree to the Honda plate being better looking than others. I'd like to use it just as a rear rack with "roc straps" to secure items. Don't think I'll ever get a top case, but that Honda plate has been on my list.

Question...That one is the metal version correct (not plastic)? Do you have the part number? I wrote it down months ago, & misplaced it. Cost?

Hey! I see you have the Scootr Logic side bags. I have them also. How do you like them? I think they're great for the money, sm-medium sized so they carry enough for me. My only gripe is that the straps could be an inch or so longer when tightening them under the seat. One day I'll stitch in an piece of strapping to extend the length.

About $35 plus shipping. All metal, solid, looks like cast metal and the top is shiny and under is like matte dark gray.
Regarding the bags, you are right, for the money they are great. Same problem here, the straps a bit short. On the Vino they were fine.
I agree on the 4th driving craziness. I try to stay away from the streets.

2013 requires drilling, 2015 does not.

Very sturdy, high quality, cast aluminum. I would buy this as a rack, or to mount a top box.

Honda Powersports lists the part number as 08L71-K35-J00 for the rack for the 2015 model

Yes BobS, that is what I discovered too while looking for a 2015 rack. The order # itself (08L71-K35-J00) differs from the 2013 order number. Yet either one (?) will fit the 2015? Do I understand that right? And they seem to "look" the same too?

I want the metal/aluminum one for my 2015. Not the plastic. So which order number would that be? So confusing.

To HONDA, you're bad at this! and you always run very late in providing accessories for new(er) bikes. Get with the program already! Please!!
(BTW, Honda refuses to show a photo on their website of the 2015 rack. They did the same thing by not showing previous year PCX racks. Weird. I'm suppose to buy one from them sight unseen? Just Not Happening).

only 35 Liters (is there larger OEM?) - Rear Trunk
Rack - Rear Trunk attachment

Givi:
Max weight capacity - 55 Liter Top Case Maxia III
rack should work for PCX150 as well? - Monokey Rear Rack

@ White Noise - 08L71-K35-J00 - the rack for the 2015 model is metal

I bought mine at a Honda dealer in the US.
