Wont start!!!

Hi new to the site had my pcx about 1 1/2 years on way home last nite doin 50mph and she cut out managed to get her started again for about another 20m and she died again walked the bike home and now it starts to turn over put its not kicking in spark plug are ok dont know what the 1 below it is (this may have sumfing to do with it) petrols fine changed air filter still wont rum ay help would be great as i cnt work without my bike thanks ppl

Could you expand on this more? I have no idea what you're talking about. Maybe you could upload a picture? I would still try a different spark plug. Other than that it seems like you have checked the big obvious items. Let me know if you need more help and I'll provide you with my cell number as I flip through my service manual.

Also have you checked your fuses? Has there been any recent maintenance done by you or your dealer?

Could be another one with a duff battery.

Gn2. Wouldnt the battery only effect starting issues? Would it make it cut out while riding too?

Yes, going by what has been posted before on here and elsewhere, those symptoms could indicate a duff battery.

You're right. Let's hope it's something that simple. Who knows the guy could have figured it out by now seeing that he hasn't come back to what seems to be a desperate post :)

The FI system requires a good battery, so it's possible it's the battery...

Learn something new every day. Figured that kind of stuff would be engine driven, but then again there are no accessory belts etc coming from the engine :)
