Does anyone recognize the console at 1:05 seconds and then again at 2:24... I don't, must be some other scooter. And does that mean (A) ABS? Have I missed something during my long winters sleep
PS: did anyone crash this winter?

Boing! Fail! How odd is that! I was trying to make out the badge on the steering head. What's the remote for? Mini Garage opener? No. Bike Lock?

Crash? Not really a crash, more of a flop.
Was still on the brakes when I went over the new paint at a stop sign, and it was raining slightly about 10 minutes earlier. Low-sided, didn't crack or scuff a panel, but it evidently knocked a wire loose somewhere which caused my right blinker to stop working.

Maybe the write-up helps in English. Maybe new Honda plant in Vietnam?
PCX125 new Honda price from 52 million
With the new version, Vietnam has become the center of production of cars PCX, replacing the previous Thailand for 125cc and 150cc models PCX

Chief wants to know if you are minimizing your accident that resulted in a broken leg Val... or have you had a second off this year

The PCX in Vietnam and select other overseas markets have motion sensor alarm systems.
Yikes Valiant. Braking is probably the hardest thing to get right. This morning I went for a fast stop with a sudden red light. I went too hard with the rear brake and started fish tailing one way, let off the rear brake then applied again and fish tailed the other way. It's too easy to use the rear brakes. I need to give myself a braking tutorial again.

Valiant, glad you're okay. Enough now. Can't believe I read that.
So, now I'm wondering...how are you guys braking? Seriously? I apply (squeeze) a bit of rear then (squeeze) front thus using both to slow or stop. I was taught that way. Wazzup?

No, my accident that broke my leg happened in August 2014 on a mountain road about a quarter mile away from the nearest stop sign.
That little flop happened yesterday.

I typically squeeze both simultaneously since one piston for the front is activated by the rear, so you don't really get 100% out of the front unless you use the rear too. Kind of makes CBS more detrimental as it's easier to lock up your rear in a panic.
Still, I'm thinking brakes should be more used to decelerate rather than actually stop the bike. I figure a "successful" stop at a decent speed could end up flipping the entire bike over the front wheel if you don't have enough stopping distance and try to full stop it anyway.

You can't stoppie a PCX. Engine at the rear is too heavy
I think stopping the bike is pretty much the brakes function in life.

If you can stoppie a Harley...
I think stopping the bike is pretty much the brakes function in life.
Yeah, but you generally want to scrub off speed as early as you can. I mostly rely on engine braking as much as possible before touching my brakes. As I found out, sudden traction demands can be ugly when you don't have enough of it.

You absolutely can, it just won't be rubber that touches the ground when the rear end comes down .

Whaaat??? No wonder you're having troubles. Have you taken a MSF (motorcycle safety) course?

Yes I have. Maybe I should have said squeeze it, don't grab it?
