Hi guys.just booked a 2nd hand pcx150 year 2012.had 11k miles on it.its the only i can find near me with the right price.i did a test drive round the block noticed some vibration as soon as i pull off and disappear once reach 20 or so.the shop gives a week warranty but being a business i have a suspicion that they'll try hard to avoid attending to claims.i want to press on it but i figure I'll have a better chance getting them to fix it if i know exactly where to point them to.any ideas?

It could be a few things. The clutch could be juddering or the belt vibrating or the pulley rollers might be worn.
It depends how bad it is and might need stripped to check it before a reliable diagnosis can be given.

As far as I know there is no such thing as a 2012 pcx 150. In late Spring of 2012, the 2013 pcx 150 showed up in showrooms in the USA. Prior to that Honda only PCX 125s.

Got my pcx today.the shop did some adjustment to the belt and i think 90% of the shudder is gone. still, I believe that taking off should be a lot smoother than this.there's too much growl, or it may just signs of a little over 2 yrs of use,no?yes it is year 2012.december 2012 to be precise. Btw im from Malaysia.

The manufacture date probably would not represent what year model Honda wanted it to represent. For example, auto manufacturers introduce their new, next year models, in the late summer - early fall of each year. So you may have December 2012 as the manufacture date, but it is probably considered their 2013 model. In either case, you have a nice scooter. If you think that something might still be wrong with it, take it to another dealer and ask their mechanic to ride it and give you his opinion on the vibration. Remember that you will have some vibration as the belt engages. The question of how much is too could only be answered by a qualified mechanic.
