Hey,

Does anyone know where I can see an image or website which shows the comparisons between the 2013 models and the newer 14/15 models,
basically just a chart type with states the differences next to each other,
like you can find when comparing mobile phones etc.

Just want to see the actual difference between the 2 without having to go from different websites as some i've seen show some specs but others show more/less etc.

Hey jojo87, you can check out some info I posted on this thread comparing the two. I had just bought my 2015 when I started up that thread. Maybe you'll read what you're after. Read on Page 6, hope it helps :P

Newer one has:

Bigger tank
Clock
Humpless seat
Different styling
Slightly lower top speed

And that's it.

Also...
LED headlights
12V adapter (unless the pre-13s in Europe had it)

Yes, due to gearing changes, although I'm not sure about the UK's 125cc models.

On the the PCX 150's figure about 68 mph 2013 vs 65 mph 2015 when the hit the rev limiter stock. Hardly a big deal - except to us  .

I'll have to check after the whole running in is done....
how long is that usually? how many miles?
was hoping to go to a certain place when I got my Bike, but its about 50mph road for awhile,
but read you cant really keep the throttle back or get to top speeds during the running in time...

Just go to Honda and open each bike in a new tab so it is easy to switch back and forth.

Looks like they are both there to me. See the 2015/3013 in upper left? Click on the 2013.

150cc though, guessing there isn't much difference apart from speed obviously...

I said even today if I could find a great bargain on a 2013 still I would throw a $100 seat on it and buy it over the 2015 but that is just me. I test ride them both several times when I bought the 2013.

I think I like the sharp look of the newer model, and the headlights are a lot nicer I think...
and the fact they now have a clock on the dash!
also the opening for the fuel looks better,
on my 2013 it would constantly rattle, I had to put loads of sponge in it and dual lock the lid closed!

Just not looking forward to the breaking in time...
as soon as I get it I want to go to a certain place like I said in a previous post, and its mostly 40-50mph non stop for awhile,
is the breaking in time THAT important?
as obviously the engine and so on is tested etc before hand anyway...?

Also, is there anything I need to know that wont be in the manual?
for examples, I read about valve checks, on my last Bike it was supposed to be done after quite a few miles,
but I read somewhere that they need to be checked after 300-600 miles?

Also the first service, i'm guessing not much needs to be done with this apart from a oil change maybe?
to keep the warranty I need to take it to a Garage to be done, even though I can do it myself,
even the second service on my old Bike was just the oil, spark plug, airbox filter.. which I did myself as the warranty was void anyway due to the first owners fault...
to keep this new bike serviced down the line i'm going to need to take it to Garages.

"is the breaking in time THAT important?"

Only if you plan on keeping it for a while.

Otherwise, wring it out, baby!

Not really. Modern engines are pretty much done with break in after 3-4 thermal cycles. Just don't hammer it when it is cold and you will be fine.

I'm not really out on it if it's too cold, it's for pleasure only as I work my business from home, so it's good to get out for a ride daily (depending on weather),
most of the time it's 20-40mph streets, but sometimes I like to go to go near the coast, I can either go a full on 50mph road which lasts about 10 minutes,
or go through country lanes and then a shorter 40mph road....

Actually excited to get back on 2 wheels after the Car went into me in November!

I currently have the Forza 300 which is nice but as others have said, the seat is rather wide which makes it a LITTLE tricky to control when filtering! I'm tempted by the new PCX but wonder what the new headlights are like in terms of brightness - I know they're LED. Also, what's the new seat like? Yes, I know, you're all thinking - "silly girl, go test ride one...." and you're right - just curious before I potentially waste time - the hump on the old PCXs seat was, quite literally, a pain in the *&*! The lights on the Forza are not particularly good in my view and I do need good lights - to see and BE seen funnily enough! I know too that I would be going down in CCs and speed but I need to slow down - I shan't go in to details here but I'm sure you can work it out!!!

Look forward to hearing back from you chaps.
