Just wondering how often you guys adjust your tyre pressures.

Just checked and my tyres are a few PSI flat, so I'll need to head to the garage ASAP to pump them up.

Do you guys pump to 29 psi front/ 33 psi rear, or slightly higher than that?

Every month,
29-30 front, 36 rear

I've only done mine once in six months of ownership. I just kept to what the manual says and use a track pump to inflate, then test with pressure gage and adjust accordingly.

My front seems to keep the pressure quite well, whereas my rear loses a few PSI every 2-3 months of town riding.

Shamefully i've never checked my tyres.... nor my oil.... better get it booked in for a service eh?

After 6 months of town riding, when I checked my rear, which looked fine, it was 25 psi, it should have been 33! (accurate gauge)

Might have to check it when i get home then!

I keep mine set as per operator's manual, 29 front 33 rear. Adjust rear accordingly as per specs, when carrying passenger. Honda knows best (imo)

30 Front 34 Rear, I have telltale caps fitted so i can see if pressures are down. Even 2 pounds down on the back makes the ride feel squirmy with my fat ass on it.

Sorry John, what are telltale caps?

They fit over the valve stem and have a traffic light indicator. normal pressure shows a green band, when the pressure drops a red band is evident. The green band is showing on the pic.

Are these configurable or do you buy ones specific to the pressures you would like?
Have you had any issues with pressure loss since having them installed?

They aren't configurable, but come in a variety of specific pressures. I ordered mine a couple of pounds over the recommended pressure.

I prefer slightly higher pressures because I don't do much wet weather riding, and believe my scoot handles better, also have always run my car tyres at higher pressures than recommended. My car tyres last longer and wear more evenly with slighly higher pressures.

I believe pressure loss has been less with these fitted.

so potentially i should run the recommended pressure as i live in the UK and do lots of wet weather riding!

30psi front, 36psi rear. I had to air up the stock tires every few weeks. Since then I've had Pirelli's and Michelin's and both hold air much better but still need air every few months.

Don't up the pressures too much in the wet. Handbook pressures are generally a really good starting point

Hello there, sure hope you're joking about the oil.
Low tires you crash.....low oil - you walk.....to the bank for another scooter loan.
Lovely post here somewhere from a fellow who never checked his oil.....care to guess what happened to his scooter riding. Please don't pay someone to change your oil. It is too easy.....even HONDA thinks you can do it. See your owners manual.
