Seat Hump Mod.

Post by Drifter »

Most everyone agrees the hump is a pain in the arse......so the easy and free way to help is to move it back a bit. I did actually not move it back just cut off about an inch from the front edge and changed the angle of the foam. This inch made a difference, this mod along with the 1/2 inch lower seat mod has made me change my mind for now at least in buying a new seat. This mod needs a few tools and patience but it is easy and Free. :D

Drifter, you will be sorry that your hump has been ruined when people discover the new Extreme Sport of Hump Riding. When i pull away from an intersection, i slide back and ride on the hump. It's not bad. It breaks up the monotony of riding slightly too far forward for a rider who is 5'11" (not very tall but too tall for a PCX with a hump).

Well an upholsterer gets about $35-40/hour so it was not exactly free. :P
