Givi Top case install

In case anyone is interested:
Pics of the Givi universal mount on the OEM Honda rack. Also of E26 top case. My Large size HJC Symax modular fits inside.
Notes:
The Honda tail plastic has marks on the underside on where to drill the holes. This has been covered in other posts. But I will add one thing. I have found that it's important to make your holes larger than the rack posts. You do not want the rack contacting the plastic at any point on the edge of the hole. If it does, you will likely end up with a stress crack in the plastic. I was extremely careful drilling the holes and mounting the rack and tail section back on. Nevertheless, I ended up with a crack because the rack post contacted the hole edge. I included a pic of this so you can avoid it.
Once you have drilled the rough hole, use a small sanding drum on a Dremel tool to carefully enlarge the hole and finish the drilled edge off. You may have to test fit the tail plastic to the rack a couple times until you get it exactly how you want it.
The GIVI universal mounting plate mounts easily to the OEM Honda rack. I could have used the included hardware alone, but I chose to also drill two small holes in the rack itself to mount the plate to the rack. I think it's more secure that way, and honestly you may remove the GIVI case itself, but you'll probably leave the base plate on all the time.
The E26 is a phenomenal deal for the money on Amazon, considering it comes with everything you need. No need to buy another base. Small enough that it doesn't overpower the small scoot's looks, but big enough to hold your helmet.
