Was in Lidl today and they had clock thermometer gadgets in, price a very reasonable £3.50.
They have an ice alarm function.
Might be useful?

Any reason you would want to know the indoor temp while riding a bike?

Nice find, I like the "ice" feature. One never knows. Where/how are you mounting it?
