So, I just got my new pirelli diablo back tyre put on for £20 by a guy that works from home, better than the honda garage whose quote to fit the tyre was £45 tossers!! anyway I was under the impression that when you get the services done it has to be with a Honda garage....not so says the tyre man..thats what the honda garage will tell you he says but as long as the work is done properly then it can be done anywhere.

Thoughts gentlemen ??

He's right. Servicing can be carried out anywhere so long as they stamp your book.
This was actually explained to me by my Honda main dealer!!
Apparently the law on this sort of thing was changed in the UK a few years ago.
Some dealers won't admit to it though.
