This may have been posted before but not sure. If so pm me a link and I'll ask maddiedog to remove this post.

When I take off from a stop, there is a squel everytime I guess when the clutch is engaging. I only have 3000 miles on it so it shouldn't be the belt

Give it some welly.
Take it somewhere quiet and do a bunch of full throttle starts.
Then ride it for half an hour at full throttle.

The urban dictionary defines a squel as a small or minature squeal. Hope that helps, you you.

Ah I see. Squeal. Surprised phone didn't autocorrect on the missed vowel. Anyways anyone have any tips besides gn2? I'll try his method later. There is an old air strip a mile from my house no one uses so I'll do his method there. Also plan to check rollers and belt, after final exams are over with of course

Might be a little hard to ride at full throttle for half an hour at an air strip. ;)

Did it sound like this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5_hZjIB ... e=youtu.be I only had 500 miles when I had to have my belt replaced but it started making noises at about 400 miles. I took it into the dealer twice before they took it apart. In my case there was lubricate that got onto the belt during assembly and when it warmed up it started making noises. It ended up burning the belt. Since it was under warranty the dealer replaced it.

Glazed clutch shoes.
Easily fixed.
Disassemble and remove the glazing with an abrasive.

Ha. No. And of course when I try to get a video of it nothing happens
