Can someone please tell me the difference between the American PCX 150 and the Philippine PCX 150?
My best friend from America here drives a Toyota Vios and he loves it. He tells me the difference between an American Vios and a Philippine Vios is that the Philippine Vios has no pollution control stuff on it and it really runs good, better than the American car.
Maybe this is the difference in the PCX 150 to.
Thanks much for your help. Ride safe my friends.

I don't know what differences there may be with the motor, but three of the things I know that are different are:
1) Protruding signal lights in US & Canada.
2) No idle stop switch on the US and Canada.
3) Parking brake in the US and Canada

Some of the Asian PCXes have cheaper headlight assemblies too. The engines are identical, but the rollers in the variator on the US models are weighed differently than any other model to accommodate our girths.

Non US bikes aren't awesome

Speaking of differences, Dave have you measured seat height with that Asian sat you have installed? I get the feeling that whoever designed the original seat expect all riders to be above 5' 11" tall. That is why the Asian 3rd party seats are so popular. At least the Suzuki folks thought people shorter might want to ride too. :-/

The aftermarket seat I have sits at least a couple of inches shorter, but I haven't measured it yet.
I think the stock seat on the PCX sits so high to accommodate a helmet under the seat.
