Hello,

Thought I should create a introductory thread as I have a few questions up and coming soon XD,

Mine names Tom, I've had my PCX125 for just over a year now and love it, its my commuter for university, work, and any other socials.

Recently got a little bit of money so Im splashing out on my PCX, ordered the givi smoked short screen, along with a K&N filter, 12volt adapter socket.

Looking to smarten the bike up a little and have been thinking about thicker tyres, as the back one needs replacing anyway.

Anyways like I said I will make some other questions threads soon.

Cheers

Tom

Hi Tom, welcome.
For a rear tyre I can recommend the Michelin CityGrip in the standard size.
Lasts much longer than the standard IRC ones.
K&N filter is a waste of money, to get any benefit at all you'll need to do a huge mileage.

Aha I didn't realise, its on its way now anyway,
The Michelin CityGrip does sounds good but someone else mentioned to me about Pirelli Diablo's, not sure if its work it?

Haven't used a Diablo, the City Grip does what it says on the tin and lasts really well.
You won't be disappointed.

Thats a great price cheers, what's it like self fitting the tyre? (never done anything like that before) Maybe more worth while to pay garage to do it and watch?

I found getting the tyre off and on quite easy, but I had to get a friendly garage to seat it on the rim with their airline.

I had diablo's on my zuma, had 3k on them when I sold it and they were still doing good. The back needed to be replaced soon as I had done some burn outs but it still had tread on it. I thought they were a good replacement choice.
