Forza 300 2018 Seat doesn't stay up

Anyone facing problem with your Forza seat? It doesn't stay up and keeps dropping.

I am new to the mighty Forza. Just got a 2yr old forza 1 week ago. Coming from an SYM Joyride 200, I would say the ride comfort of the Forza is amazeballs.

Would appreciate if anyone can share your ideas on what can be done to tackle the seat issue. It seems the new MKII doesn't have any strut to keep the seat up though. Am I right?

Thank you in advance!

Someone will be along to confirm about the strut [or not] My 2014 Forza strut went bad and use a prop rod. [wood dowel] Not Elegant.......works for me.

Look across the web for helper spring kits - Taiwan sites sell a kit for the Xmax, I’m sure same exists for the the PCX….

search on here under "has anyone had their seat fixed under warranty"....scan through the entries...simple solution to the issue is shown. Done this on my Forza a few years ago and never had a problem since.

It's amazing that Honda is still having this problem. This part number is one that someone a while back posted as a solution to the seat coming down on the 2014 Forza, 83590-K04-932. I never replaced mine I just put up with it and use a stick. It was supposedly a higher pressure shock used on later models to solve the problem, It may very well be the same part number as what's already in yours or yours maybe something completely different. These types of shocks are widely used in industry or automotive for many applications. As someone who does industrial maintenance I can attest to the fact that they are not very reliable and fail very frequently, it may well be that whatever is in your scoot may have just failed prematurely.
