yuminashi kit already exists change / new for the first version

good morning dear bikers... after some e-mail exchanges with yuminashi describing the problem I was having with the 164cc kit (first model jf28 2010 engine not esp), the yuminashi technical team withdrew from sale this kit... because it was causing a lot of headaches in the head joints, it ended up having oil consumption and serious damage to the engines, in some cases, their destruction. with everything, people always want more.... so the novelty comes with the assembly of the cylinder for the first model but already with the engine (esp) . the kit looks much more robust...but you have to make some changes at the engine cover level to apply this kit...with this you will be accused of saying that I already have a kit like this with me..lol This new kit is already included one injector and all.. once again we have to change (buy the flange / injector base) and buy the injector conversion cable. I chose to go to Honda and bought the plug and the 2 pins of the plug and soldered it to the existing wiring. I hope at the end of August 2021( if not before 😄 assemble the kit as it is a more delicate operation. I will leave some photos of the kit below . if you need any help or information please have it available

there are several differences, even in the thickness of the head joints. I must assemble this new kit at the end of August... as the engine crankcases have to be opened.

the reference of the parts are in the photos... as for saying the list of what you need this is complicated it has to do with what you want to do .. the best thing is to send an email to yuminashi and they will make a list of what you should to assemble.

and yes you will need an injection controller in addition to a bigger injector at least

@power-full,

As always, great information! The cooling passages in the updated kit look so much better. I'm looking forward to seeing your progress when you get to the install.

Are the modifications to the engine case to clear the crankshaft or connecting rod? Does Yuminashi provide specs to give to a machinist so they can do the modifications?

Cheers!
Dankly

Hello Goodnight. yuminashi didn't mention how much it would have to open the engine crankcase, so it's not the first time I have to do this type of service on my motorcycles, for example on 4 stroke engines I had to do it on my Yamaha maxster 125cc (when I assembled the 180cc kit) which must have been around for a good 10/11 years and is still going ...., what I did at the time and it is very likely what I will do with the pcx is, for example, imagine the base of the cylinder liner is 68mm I will have to open at least 70mm in the crankcase of the engine that is 35mm in each crankcase to leave some slack for the cylinder to expand with the heating .... but you have to be very careful because the channels of passage of the engine oil to the head starts at the base of the engine block ....but it's nothing that can't be done.... for those who have more difficulties it's nothing that a turner won to do .

that a machinist won't do. or someone who rectifies car engines for example

Hello good morning guys. I'm pending the crankshaft seal because of having an oil cut I only found it at Honda it's 2 to 3 days for delivery, I took the opportunity and ordered the oil filter cover which is a crap at the aluminum level and was already getting crushed. however in the new gear ratio I'll have to go to the lathe to have the shaft cut a little because it's not a direct fit as yuminashi says... it's scraping on the 51 tooth sprocket ..but I'll take some pictures soon... of this one I warned you when stretching the cx... let's see what happens ..lol

18 x 53 x 16 x 42. Lets ser lol funny
