giving it a sportbike look

i love the looks of the pcx compared to my older scooters but ive always wanted a sportbike, i just hate the power and shifting. does anyone know of or have a simple solution for this mod? it would be something that goes infront of the seat and under the handle bars filling in that extra space above the gas tank, there can even be a hole on top to still reach the tank. what do you think?

The PCX already looks like a sports scooter when compared to a Vespa :D

I agree. The first thing my wife said when she saw it was "Oh no! You bought a crotch rocket!!"

I have a pretty good imagination and I just can't seem to picture "your sports bike Addition" look.
Me too, I recently showed a family member my PCX and bingo! He thought it was a sport bike. Was shocked when I said, ahh, nope it's a 125 scooter fully automatic. What an expression on his face o_O
Idea: maybe take a side photo of your PCX, print it in a "Large" size (making a few copies), and sketch in/color in your sportbike vision. I've done this to pick colors to paint my house. I used crayons to color areas (trim, base, door(s) even roof shingles). I kept using my enlarged photocopies to color till I liked what I saw. It definitely worked for me and I painted my home 100% to my satisfaction. You can have small photo's enlarged quite big at your local Staples store or printing shop. They have great copy machines. Good luck.

If the gap above the tank gets filled in, the seat won't open.
If you really want the sportbike look, buy a sportbike.

Simple solution :? I think a tank bag of some sort could work...
You could install a sportbike tank above the stock one
I would like to do the opposite to my tank, flatten it out, more ruckus flat tank style. hmmmm... ;)

I have read from others that the T496 is the same as the EA105, which is available.

The other way to fill in that gap is to develop an enormous belly and let it hang in that space.

I dont really think thta you can give the scooter a sportbike look. However, that tank bag really does make it look sportier. The problem will be you'll be sitting very upright... and thats not sportbikey at all :p

However, I am a fan of the stealthy look you got going on with that bike. Looks pretty sick!

Well this bike is looking totally different from other bikes because you cover the area with this black body. I like the idea of making your scooter to a super bike. Thanks for sharing the photos. I like it and please share more photos of your ride.
