GPS recommendations

I’ve decided I need a GPS for my PCX. I’ve looked on line and the motorcycle ones are a bit pricey.can anyone recommend one from a big box store or Amazon ? I’m looking for one that will avoid interstates, most seem to do, and also main roads. I would like to use quieter roads even if it’s a bit further and takes longer. The info given with units does not address this feature. Thanks.

Top tip no. 112

Don’t buy a motorcycle specific GPS.

Buy a cheap one or use your phone.

If it rains pop it in your pocket, or put a sandwich bag over it. Or both.

Agreed - I use my phone and google maps. Directions can be heard in my helmet through my Sena speakers.

You can purchase Used Garmins for less than $75 and mount it...

I been using Garmins for over a decade. This is on my other scooter.

Thanks guys. I pretty much decided to get a cheaper one, was just concerned that they would not allow me to choose my own route.

I had a Tom Tom for awhile but the vibration on my scooter pretty much killed it. It would stop working for no apparent reason. Now I just use my phone.
