A gentle morning ride to Lak Lake, Vietnam

Although the Golden Gal needs a service I trust her enough to get me around reliably. Today is my day off, so I thought it prudent to get in a decent ride before the rainy season hits (when scooting becomes a lot less fun).
Headed out at 6am for Lak Lake - biggest natural freshwater lake in the province of Dak Lak. Google Maps told me 50kms from home to lake, 1h10m ride time. T'was a pleasant ride, bar the homicidal drivers overtaking and coming straight at me in my lane from time to time.
The lake itself was pretty, air was fresh, a little steamy but not unbearable, and the tented camp on the island was pretty sweet. Rain came down in buckets a half-hour after I got back home. One month late.
The Golden Gal held up well - I'll treat her to a minor service, come payday (even though my boss - the Vietnamese equivalent of Mr Burns, should be paying for it).
Enjoy the picture show...
